What to expect at your
Your trial is an exciting time and a chance to show us what you've planned for your wedding! At your trial we ask you lots of questions so we can have an idea of what you are wanting for your big day.
Each bride is different, and we meet with many, so it's important we get it right.
We take down notes, go over the boring paperwork and any queries you have for us, and the get started on the fun stuff!
Super easy, low key and a great way to meet us before we spend possibly one of the biggest days of your life with you and your family, it's nice to meet us first!
Things to consider before booking
Please note we require a $200.00 non refundable holding fee to secure your wedding date, this ensures you are able to book your date and in any event of cancellation our amazing stylists are compensated for their time and efforts, this fee comes off your total cost. If the cancellation is due to a fault on our end, you will be fully reimbursed.

An open mind, what you have decided on, may not show your true beauty. Trust us and our suggestions- especially if you don't usually wear makeup.

The address of where you will be getting ready- it's ok if you aren't sure at the time of your trial, but as soon as you know, please let us know for planning purposes!
Makeup Trial

If you can, please come with no makeup on. We understand life is very busy and have makeup removal wipes etc available if needed but a fresh face means a blank canvas and easier to see your skin.

You’re welcome to bring any favourite products, but our kits are fully stocked with everything needed for your look.

Some of our artists offer trials where the fee can be applied toward products so keep this in mind when you're in our chair which products you love the most as you could be able to take them home.

A friend or family member is more than welcome to join you for support.

Keep an open mind, you may arrive with a set idea, but trust our expertise. We’ve done countless bridal looks and might suggest something that enhances your natural beauty even more, especially if you don’t usually wear makeup and we may come up with something you end up loving more than what you wanted initially.

No need to purchase your own lashes. We supply lightweight styles that complement bridal looks better than heavy store-bought ones.

Allow about 1–1.5 hours, or up to 2.5 hours if you’d like to explore multiple options. It can take a few tweaks to find your perfect look.

We photograph and document wat we've done so we can recreate it exactly on your wedding day. These images are private and never posted without your consent.

Consider scheduling your trial before an event so you can enjoy the professional makeup and see how it wears throughout the day.

Speak up and have fun. Your happiness is our priority. Tell us if you’d like more coverage or want to adjust anything, we can only perfect it if you share your thoughts.
Hair Trial

It's important NOT to have freshly washed hair. Please have your hair at least 1 day dirty for your trial.

Please brush your hair before your trial.

Let us know if you will have your hair cut, or coloured before your wedding as this will change the overall look.

Any hair pieces you have chosen, bring them along!

Spraytan Trial

Relax, you’re in good hands. We know a wedding tan trial might be your first and can feel a little intimidating, but we’ll guide you every step so you’re comfortable.

You’ll be in the spray tent for about three minutes. It is cold sorry! but you can dress again right after.

Before we begin we’ll discuss your desired depth of colour, explain how to stand and move, and share prep and aftercare tips. Please arrive with clean, product-free skin, no deodorant or makeup. We provide wipes if you’d like to freshen up.

Wear whatever makes you comfortable: nothing at all, a disposable g-string, or your own underwear/bra. Afterwards, change into loose, dark clothing, avoiding tight or elastic items, including socks, which can cause rubbing.

If possible, leave jewellery at home to keep your skin clear for tanning.
